The Society for Calligraphy & Handwriting’s (SCH) sister-guild, Write On Calligraphers (WOC), voted unanimously at their August 9, 2016 board meeting to sponsor the International Calligraphy Conference in the summer of 2018 (most likely during July).
Katherine Malmsten and Sue Gruhn are the Co-Directors and are in the process of securing a venue, hopefully in the Seattle area. Keep checking the WOC and SCH websites for updates as they become available.
The Society for Calligraphy & Handwriting’s (SCH) meeting schedule for the 2016–2017 year is now posted on the Meetings Schedule page of our website. Mark your calendar! We have fun and informative meeting topics and activities planned.
Visitors are welcome to attend to see if they would like to join our guild. We look forward to meeting new attendees and seeing our returning members. See you soon!

The Society for Calligraphy & Handwriting’s (SCH) 2013 – 2014 meeting schedule is now available on our website. We are excited with the line-up of activities and presenters.
We have also scheduled our Fall workshop for November 2nd. Lisa Tsang and Nan Robkin will lead the workshop, which is entitled “Making Fabric Paper”. More details will come soon. Please reserve the date on your calendar.
Non-members interested in attending SCH meetings are welcome to attend 2 meetings to decide if they want to join the guild. Attending our meetings and workshops is a great way to learn about calligraphy, related arts and our guild. Our membership dues are only $25 for the year. We welcome all levels of skills and abilities.
We look forward to seeing you at our 2013 – 2014 kick-off meeting, September 12, 2013.
