The Society for Calligraphy & Handwriting’s (SCH) next meeting is Thursday, October 17th, at 7:00 pm at Chinook Middle School, 2001 98th Ave NE Bellevue, WA 98004, in Room 1404. Please view our meetings page for a map and directions.
We all love the tools and toys we work and play with; are there ever enough? Katherine Malmsten will bring a variety of vintage and unusual tools to demonstrate lettering, and everyone is invited to try them out. Some are older and no longer made, some are created, some might just be ones you’ve wanted to experiment with.
Bring paper and water based writing fluid (please no acrylic or with lacquer), water container and a sense of exploration.
Enjoy participating in an optional raffle for $2.00. Visitors are welcome to attend to see if they would like to join our guild. We look forward to seeing you there!
