On November 2nd the Society for Calligraphy & Handwriting (SCH) will be holding its Fall workshop with Lisa Tsang and Nan Robkin, entitled “Making Fabric Paper”, in Renton, WA.
They will show how to create various decorated papers using spray dyes and rubber stamping. They will use a special formula medium to collage all kinds of hand-decorated, found, and magazine papers onto a fabric substrate. When dry, this fabric paper can be used to make jewelry, book covers, coasters, backgrounds for calligraphy or whatever your imagination comes up with!
