SCH holds meetings and workshops throughout the year, focusing on calligraphy and related art forms. The meetings and workshops provide an enthusiastic exchange in the form of lectures, demonstrations, hands-on instruction or art projects.

The Society for Calligraphy & Handwriting’s (SCH) next meeting is Thursday, October 20th, at 7pm at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue in room UC-105. Please view our meetings page for the address and directions.
Mari Gower will be presenting her book, Cupid and Psyche, at this month’s meeting. Mari, a book artist, will talk about her process and how her visual images unfold after much research. She will explain how she creates a coherent notebook with research notes and sketches during the process of creating her artist book. Her book, Cupid and Psyche, is in the University of Washington’s Special Collections.
