The Society of Calligraphy & Handwriting (SCH) holds monthly meetings September through May (except December) on the third Thursday of the month.
Following a short business session, meetings provide some form of enthusiastic exchange in the form of lectures, demonstrations, hands-on-instruction or slide presentations. SCH meetings offer the most tangible benefit of membership. They provide an artistic community to stimulate an individual’s creative growth, and an environment in which the history, techniques and applications of the art come alive.
The meetings currently are held at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue (aka Bellevue Presbyterian Church) located at:
1717 Bellevue Way NE
Bellevue, WA 98004
The meetings are from 7 pm to 9 pm in Room UC-105 on the first floor of the Upper Campus building. From the main entrance take the elevator past the narthex to the third floor, turn right, go through the outside doors to the Upper Campus building. Room 105 is on the left once you enter the Upper Campus building. The church is well-lighted and has ample parking.
