The Society for Calligraphy & Handwriting’s (SCH) next meeting is Thursday, September 17th, at 7:00 pm via Zoom.

Nan Robkin will be demonstrating how to construct a tiny book structure. You can either work along or just watch and take notes for later. Using practice sheets on text-weight paper or any text weight paper of choice, she will use a structure made popular by Dyan Reaveley to make a tiny book that can be used as a pendant or just admired for its own sake.

The supplies needed are:

– a cardstock or clear plastic template of 4 inches wide by 2.5 inches tall
– scissors or trimmer or craft knife and mat
– a stack of text-weight practice papers
– pencil
– a glue stick

Optional supplies include:

– washi or cloth tape for spine
– decorative paper for cover

Visitors are welcome to attend one meeting to see if they would like to join our guild. If you would like to join this Zoom meeting, please RSVP to info@calligraphysociety.org and we will send you the Zoom invitation on the day of the meeting.
