The Society for Calligraphy & Handwriting’s (SCH) April 16, 2020 meeting has been rescheduled to be online. Joey Grable will be presenting his font, Concourse Display.
Joey Grable is a graphic designer and font maker based in Seattle, specializing in custom branding and logo design, marketing collateral design, and website experience design. On April 16th at 7PM, Joey will be presenting a new revival font design to SCH on a YouTube Live Stream; there attendees will be able to ask/type any questions about his inspirations, font design, and the production process.
Concourse font is a robust display font designed by Joey Grable. It was inspired by Union Station in the historic district of Seattle, WA. It features sharp edges and bold personality, includes standard and discretionary ligatures, alternate and extended Latin character sets. It is perfect for use in short texts, print branding, and packaging.
