The Society for Calligraphy & Handwriting’s (SCH) next meeting is Thursday, February 27th, at 7:00 pm at Chinook Middle School, 2001 98th Ave NE Bellevue, WA 98004, in Room 1404. Please view our meetings page for a map and directions.
Terri Kruger will present how to draw Acanthus Leaves. Throughout history, the Acanthus has been a prominent and versatile design element, from calligraphy to carving, metalwork and architecture.
Terri will teach basic drawing, shading and coloring, from simple bud and leaf to border design, which can be used in lettering, embellishment, borders and illumination.
Please bring a pencil, eraser, drawing paper, ruler, colored pencils and (optional) 005 black Micron Pigma. The supply fee is $2.00.
